2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data

When you visit our website, the following information is automatically collected: IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL. This data is required to ensure a smooth connection and comfortable use of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Local Storage and External Content

In its current form, the website does not itself set analytics or marketing cookies and does not use a Lodgify booking widget. Your choice in the notice banner is stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage). During a booking request, the browser stores a random technical request ID and, after verified acceptance, briefly stores the public Ventimar reference in session storage (sessionStorage). These values contain no names, email addresses or phone numbers and are not used for advertising or profiling.

A Google Maps map is loaded only after you expressly click on it. This establishes a connection to Google; Google may receive technical data and use its own storage technologies. The map is not loaded without that click. You can delete local and session browser data at any time in your browser settings.

On our webcam page, the live and timelapse players from IPCamLive (IPCamLive Kft., Hungary) and the weather widget from meteoblue AG (Switzerland) remain blocked initially. A connection is made only when you expressly click the respective content. The providers then receive in particular your IP address and technical browser and request data and may use their own cookies or similar storage technologies; IPCamLive additionally describes third-party analytics. 4. Booking Requests (Resend and manual Lodgify processing)

We use Resend, a service of Plus Five Five, Inc. (USA), to deliver your booking request to the host by email. When you submit, the contact and travel data you enter (in particular name, email address, optional phone number, country, travel dates, guest count and quoted price) is transmitted to Resend. The website does not automatically create a Lodgify record. The host may subsequently enter the request in Lodgify (Lodgify S.L., Barcelona, Spain) for manual processing. No payment data is collected at this stage. Resend may process data in the United States; its Data Processing Addendum incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers. If a request does not lead to a booking, we delete it from the owner's mailbox and, if it was entered manually, from Lodgify no later than twelve months after the last substantive contact, unless claims still need to be clarified. If a contract is concluded, the applicable statutory commercial and tax retention periods apply instead. Under its DPA, Resend processes customer data for the term of the agreement and deletes it no later than 90 days after termination; earlier deletion rights remain unaffected. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and contract fulfilment).
